Really conflicted on this one. My daughter is a super picky eater so buffets are how I keep her eating and Super King is the absolute best at doing this. The food is plentiful and honestly pretty tasty. I just get this uneasy feeling. The food is such a good value and the quality seems pretty much where you would expect but I dont see many people eating there. How are they maintaining this? Of course I'm coming back again and again but I just feel like its to good to be true.

We came for the weekday lunch buffet, which is a better price than the dinner buffet. I'm assuming they have more and/or tastier food at dinner, but I don't know for sure. Allie asked if she could have a soft serve cone to-go, and they said it was OK. Next time, I'll see if they let me stash any whipped cream or cherries in my cargo pockets so I can have a Schlitz cocktail when I get home.

I have eaten here a total of three times within the last 4 weeks, twice for lunch, and a 3rd time on Father's day. I just ate there with my daugher, for Father's day which is dinner price all day. We were seated very quickly. Food selection is quite good for a buffet, with lots of variety to choose from. Several different soups, bao, sushi, shrimp, octopus, mussels and shrimp dishes, as well as a sushi selection and lots of deserts and fresh fruit. Overall quality is pretty good. There are not many Chinese buffets in the Portland metro area, and this is the one I keep going back to.

10/10. Super King is back biches. Disregard whack influencers pimpin out their moms for digital hugs. This is comfort food for get casual togethers at a pretty good price with super attentive staff. This Asian buffet offers a lot of Asian buffet classics: Asian seafood, mixed cuisines, surprisingly fresh sushi, stir fry, Chinese, and old school Chinese-American-style food. This place closed down for years during Covid and not only survived but remade their menu and atmosphere. They refocused on quality ingredients and all new recipes. Food is fresh and not overcooked. The fruit at the fruit bar was fully ripened and delicious. They really doubled down and improved their recipes. I'm actually surprised by the creativity of some dishes lately. If you're looking for a good local no frills spot, give this place a try. Everyone round here knows Super King is a good family or buddy hang. It'll definitely hit your Chinese American food cravings.

Cook was very hospitable and willing to make any dish requested. Food was nice and hot.

Ya know this place wasn't bad at all. I'm actually surprised it wasn't as busy as I thought it would be, especially for a weekend lunch. Maybe they're busier at night. We got there right when it opened and so did a bunch of other folks. We were seated right away and our drink orders were immediately taken. Neat place. As you walk in, you walk between two water features. And yes, there were fish in there. We sat bear the food so my mom didn't have to walk too far. There was a lot of seating. It's a pretty big place. And hot food kept coming out which is a great sign. They had some items which I typically don't see at buffets. They had like this chicken katsu, but with peanut sauce instead. That was pretty good. And their short ribs had tons of meat on them and witj great flavor. Their sushi wasn't my favorite, but their shrimp and crab made up for it. They definitely had a lot to choose from. I would definitely come back again soon.

Reopened after 4 years and the interior is exactly the same. ambiance is kinda dim with radio station music. food was as expected from a buffet. i was pleasantly surprised by their sushi selection and large rolls. service was a bit lacking--they took awhile to take our plates away.

We had been waiting for Super King to open again. However, we had heard that the food was worse than before, the floors were sticky and not to go there. We also heard that the food was tasty, the floors were NOT sticky and the service was fine. We decided to try it for ourselves on Friday, November 3, 2023. We had an open mind and we were actually pleasantly surprised. The place appeared clean, no sticky floors! The service was very attentive as the wait staff took our drink order and came back very quickly. The food was surprising very good! All the food was fresh and good. They kept many of the same items but they also kept the seafood coming and there wasn't any empty food trays for very long. But I have to say, all of the different soups, egg flower, hot and sour, and the seafood soup were all bland. I will skip the soup next time. I was happy that we were able to get the 10% discount for being over 65! We did go on a busy Friday night and everything I had was good and the service was good as they took away our empty plates quickly. I say go and try it for yourself!
